How to clone a game

I can´t believe my eyes! How somebody can copy anything at this level, it is a clone!

I am talking about Rolando Game by HandCircus coming this summer for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Unless HandCircus is a company created by creators of LocoRoco (game from Sony) we can say that this game is a clone of the second. I am really angry because i love LocoRoco and i hate people who only copy thing, of course you can take some references, but this is not only a reference.

India sells 10.000 phones per hour

10.000 mobile phones per hour were sold in India this first quarter of year, Incredible!.

Acoording to IDC India, 20 million mobile phones were shipped in India along this Q1´08.

Naveen Mishra, Manager, Communications Research at IDC India, said, “As the need of Indian mobile phone consumers is evolving, they are demanding feature-rich devices, which can cater to their business communication requirements as well as their personal needs.”

“This growth comes on the back of a burgeoning mobile services market and lower entry barriers across various customer categories, as average selling values (ASVs) of handsets continue to fall in the wake of a highly competitive landscape populated by close to 25 vendors.”

Overall, Nokia retained the top spot with a market share of 52.8%, followed by LG at 10.2%, and Samsung at 8.3% in terms of units shipped during the quarter ended March 31, 2008.

Verizon-Alltel, the new Telephone Company

The telephone company Verizon Wireless announced a few days ago that will acquire its rival Alltel Corp..

The transaction represents one of the biggest and fast in U.S. history.

The total cost of the operation around 28 billion dollars, approximately 6 billion by buying and more than 22 billion debt that accumulates Alltel.

The combination Verizon-Alltel create a company of more than 80 billion users (Verizon had 71 and Alltel 13). This means, that after this transaction Veiroz shall become the largest U.S. telephone company, thus overcoming its biggest competitor AT&T.

Mini Bluetooth keyboard for cell phones

Cute! The CPKB-BT make by I-O Data is a keyboard equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 and is targeted at hardcore-users of mobile blogs and email.

The wireless keyboard is just 151.5×92.1×14mm and weighs only 170g. It is powered by a pair of AA batteries, lasting a total of 2-3 months if the keyboard is used for 1 hour a day.

It is going to be available in Japan next June 11th and it is priced at 98€, not cheap enough.
