iRiver Phone

November 12th, 2008 by admin

iRiver Phone will be out next March 9 in Korea. This amazing mobile phone features a 3″ touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, Wi-Fi connectivity, a Linux-based UI, handwriting recognition and multiple dictionaries in addition to embedded access to Bugs Music Service (exclusive to Korea only). It does not support QWERTY keyboard, so it seems to work like an iPhone, just touchscreen keyboard.

Of course as an iRiver device, it will support music/video playback, photo/text viewer, electronic dictionary function and more.

iRiver was presented at last CES 2008, you can see this handset in the video below.

There is no info about its worldwide launch and the price is still unknown, even so, this iRiver Phone could be an interesting quality/price relation mobile device for the next year.
