Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another. NTT Communications Group has beared in mind this law of Physics in the creation of one of its latest invent: a electricity-generating shoes.
People are continuously transforming energy which are going to be wasted, for example when they are walking. The futuristic shoes that NTT is developing, generate electricity when walking. Each step puts pressure on the soles, causing the water to spin a small turbine and generate power, NTT said.
Currently, the shoes generate “a level sufficient to run an iPod mobile music player forever, as long as the wearer keeps walking,” said spokesman Hideomi Tenma, which means 1.2 watts of electricity. But they aspires more, “the company is trying to improve the power-generating capacity to 3 watts, which is the amount of electricity to power a mobile phone,” he said.
NTT wants to launch the produce by 2010, and they are looking into collaborate with shoe makers during the developing. Something essential in order to reach the success in the market, since people are not willing to wear any kind of shoes…

Can you believe this headline? Sounds odd, but it is real.
For three consecutive years this Japan Mobile Novel Award is given in Japan. Mobile novels are distributed over the internet to mobile phones and this are reaching great success, while e-book doesn´t take off in this country.
The winners of this year was the 23 years old girl “Kiki” who wrote this funny novel (Japanese 429 pages). This writer style has been praised as well as criticised, but one can only wait for imitations to come out after her winning this award.
This is the beginning of the novel: ( translated by Pepino).
My name is
Aki
Age?
23
Well I’ll be 24 this year
Boyfriend?
Well
Of course
I have one
You know
How couldn’t I have one
or whatever
My boyfriend is
normal
You know
I’m doing him a favor
by going out with him
or something
This is a great idea and i think it could reach a great success in the occidental market too, why not? we spend more time in font of the mobile screen than in the pages of a book, and this kind of stories are extensive enough to be readed while you go to work by train or bus.
Another great japanese invention

Blog&More was an idea of our CEO Daniel Vecino which starts last July 15 of 2007. Using Web 2.0 services and coordinated by professional journalists, all the technical and business team of SevenClick daily manage, study and analyze mobile technology news in order to create, investigative and promote articles using blogs, podcasts, video casts and events. All of this to let people know how important is mobile technology in our lifes today and how it can change traditional standards like manual signature into digital signature.
We have reached 1000 post published, that means almost three post per day, sounds not enough but this is only a little part of our work in SevenClick were our main activity is the mobile software development. At the beginning there was five people, today eight SevenClickers are blogging fresh news everyday to keep you informed about all that happens in this mobile world.
Why Blog&More? Check the video below (Spanish)
Blog activity started last July 18 of 2007 with an emotive post of our ex-SevenClicker Victor Ferrer (Hugs from here Victor). We enjoy working at SevenClick and Blog&More is the best way to let people know it.

We sometimes would like to have a larger screen in our mobile in order to view some photos that have been taken with our phone with good quality, or in order to read a document stored in our phone in a handy way. KDDI R&D Laboratories Inc (one of the most important cellular carriers from Japan) propouses a device with which you can do this wiressly, and without neither computer nor TV.
This prototype system, “Portable Viewer System“, has been developed using e-Paper technology. The system transmits an image stored in a mobile phone through infrared, and displays it on a 13.1-inch color electronic paper display. The display uses Bridgestone Corp’s Electronic Liquid Powder technology which can render 4,096 colors, and takes approximately 12 seconds to redraw the near A4-paper size images on the screen (not very impressive). The display only has a power button because the handset sending the information will handle all operations.
The creator company claims that it is the first electronic paper that displays images stored in a mobile phone, but it is not said anything about the availability.
