Gmail for Mobile 2.0 presents these new features:
- Speed improvement, smoother scrolling, and no freezing.
- Multiple accounts management.
- Multiple mobile email drafts.
- Powerful shortcut keys.
- Basic offline support. It is possible to compose and read the most recent emails even when there is no signal.
- Language support. Available in over 35 languages.

Unfortunately not all these features are available for all phones. You can test how it works in your phone downloading it here.
But this does not end here. Yesterday, Gmail Labs launched few Labs experiments that let you to add gadgets to the left-nav, next to Chat and Labels. For the time being there are two available gadgets: Google Calendar and Google Docs. Also there is a third Lab that allows you to add any gadget by pasting in the URL of its XML spec file. This last feature is not very friendly for all users, but it is very interesting for developers who wants to go into gmail gadgets.
