Yesterday at TechCrunch50 Conference 2008 a japanese company called Tonchidot unveiled its unbelievable new social tagging app for the iPhone, the Sekai Camera (World Camera in Japanese). Men, this is the incoming  future of internet.

“Sekai camera” is a revolutionary new product capable of easy, fast access to the internet services for very particular area. You can download information straight from the internet on your iPhone. When you reach the area you only see through the area of the view on your iPhone. Then you will meet much information by your iPhone. You do not need search yourself the information will come to you very natural way.

For example when you go to shopping you could get a good price for things in the area. Or you can get some special information or offer from shops directly. Also you can get information about new music CDs, DVDs, Films and Books that is only available on your iPhone. Another service is a virtual snapshot.

I know this words can sound unreal, please check this video and believe it.

These was the two words I said after watching this video, MY GOD!,  and i think you too. However, there are some gaps in this video. Firts of all, How does it works?, and second, when?

What kind of technology is actually used by Tonchidot?, Marketing Director Peter Anshin said the company doesn’t want to talk about details at this point. At least he revealed they are not using GPS pointing to some very interesting machine vision in this product. :(

We don´t know when it will be released but if this technology will work someday as they show, Internet will change to web 3.0 :D
