Telefonica Movistar distributed last friday only 10.000 iPhone 3G in Spain, where more than 200.000 iphone maniacs was waiting for it. Of course many people could not buy it, including me.
I had three units pre-reserved since a couple of weeks, so i was calm. Friday monday i went to the store to get it but… they had not receive it yet, they told me i had to wait along the morning to get it. (I am still waiting) :(
As i was so nervous, i tried to get it in another store, i went to El Corte Inglés but there was more people in the line than iPhones for retail, so I left the store in a rush and y tried in another one, an official Movistar Store in downtown.
There was a long (not huge) queue but there was iPhone for anyone, unless for purchasing the 8GB version, so i was so happy. Even store employees asked us if we was waiting to buy it or not, they made a note to people was waiting a 16GB iPhone, because they would have to wait till next tuesday to get it.
The problem happened when (after more than an hour) the same employees asked us if we wanted our 8GB iPhone unit we must write our name in a list in order to have an unit reserved because they had seven units in this moment. I was the twelve in the queue! So, i had to wait around two hours to leave the store without my iPhone 3G. there are no iphones for all men. We must wait for a week, at least.
Apple and Telefonica make us really crazy.

Yeah! Its sucks :( I went to a Movistar shop near me on the 11th, and they said they would get it next week, so I went into the city, and when i asked, they looed confused! Like they didn’t know what iPhone was!
There were no lines when i got there, so I thought it’d be quick (there are not many iPhone fanatics around here :[ ). But it was not to be.
By the way, I like the picture of Steve Jobs.
