SonyEricsson is about to announce a new flagship for its Cyber-shot series. The codenamed Shiho, that will finally be named SonyEricsson C950.

Being a Cyber-shot, no one should be too much surprised with its really impressive camera features. 8.1 mega pixel camera with auto focus, face recognition, a new feature called Smart Contrast, image stabilization, BestPic, red-eye reduction, xenon flash as well as photoflash for both photos and videos. It’s got a video stabilizer feature as well.

But there’s a lot more… here’s summarized:

  • Built-in A-GPS
  • HSDPA/UMTS
  • WiFI with DLNA - for sharing your media at home
  • 2.4 inch QVGA-resolution scratch-resistant mineral glass TFT display
  • TV-Out connection (cable could be included)
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP
  • Exchange ActiveSync support
  • Accelerometer

This precious will be available in late Q4 2008. No notice about pricing, but… who cares?

By the way, do you think it’s just a cellphone with camera or a wireless camera?
