iPhone 3G is here!, well not exacly, it will be launch next July 11th. The starter price is 199$ USA, probably 199€ in europe, :( and you could choose betwen black or white back cover (only in the 16GB iPhone 3G version).

There are too many new features in this object of desire to analize, the review starts after the jump.

One year since Apple launched its best gadget ever, the iPhone (R.I.P). 365 days after this “perfect” Cell Phone bith Apple brings us with a new resurrection, The “new” iPhone 3G.

Yesterday was presented at the WWDC in San Francisco, Steve Jobs announced wordwide at the end of the keynote, its new iPhone 3G strategy. It will be available next July 11th in 22 lucky countries (including Spain, great!). Check here if your country in this first launch list. There is no informations about the launch date for the rest of the countries.

Movistar will bring us the iPhone in Spain, it is confirmed for the next July 11th, there are not information about Telefónica plans, but it is confirmed that in the UK the new iPhone will available through O2 (telefónica) offering the 8GB device for free in some of their contract plans with fares from 45£ to 75£ (57€ and 94€). Another plans will offer the handset for only 99£(125€) with fares from 30£ to 35£ (37€ and 44€).

Reviewing the external appearance, as you can see in images, the general appearance is similar to the previous device (and is close similar with this supposed fake pic) but it is slightly thinner and smaller, only some milimeters, thinner edges, full plastic back and flush headphone jack. You can choose between black or white ( as we posted some weeks ago) plastic back color (only available in 16GB version) instead of the metallic back of the iPhone “EDGE”.

This white version looks even cooler than the black one.

The multitouch screen keeps its 3´5″ wide ratio but it will be a little more brilliant.

Of couse iPod is the biggest handset device but it is better too.

Certainly the very best features in this new version are the 3G version,GPS, 2.0 firmware and even the new battery.

GPS is called, Maps with GPS, it finds your location, get directions, and see traffic. Maps on iPhone 3G combines GPS, Wi-Fi, and cell tower location technology with the Multi-Touch interface to create the best mobile map application ever. It was showed yesterday and it is unbelievable. Chek it out.

Baterry life is longer than the previous version with 300 hours of standby, 8-10 hours of 2G talk, 5 hours of 3G talk, 7 hours of video and 24 hours of audio. GPS is also a go. Apple is using A-GPS, which supplements regular satellite GPS data with info from cellular towers for faster location. (WiFi data is also worked into the mix, which should give users a pretty solid lock on where the heck they are on this planet.)

With the new 2.0 version of the firmware we could buy apps through Itunes APP Store or develope our own app with Apple´s iPhone Developer Program, the easiest way to start developing apps on the best handset platform. It costs $99 the Standard Program, for developers who are creating free and commercial applications for iPhone and iPod touch. The Enterprise Program is for developers who are creating proprietary, in-house applications for iPhone and iPod touch and it is for $299.

In the other hand, many things have not changed or have not been included. First of all, the camera, it is the same 2mpx low quality in-built camera. Everybody wished a new 5mpx high quality. But the worst thing is that a new front camera for video calls have been not supplied.

This advertisement is not great enough, it represents the idea of the object of desire very well, but it is not ingenious, at least for me.
