A couple of weeks ago, Viviane Reding, European Union Information Technology Commissioner, presented the results of the last report made by this entity about the status of the Telecommunication Market in the European Union countries.
At a high level, the report remarks that consumers are taking advantage of a healthy competence, with subscription rates lowering. Anyway, things are far from being perfect. The commission shows their worries about data plans, with no flat rates widely spread.
Talking about Spain, the mobile phone penetration has reached 110,4%, a bit under European average, set on 111,8%.
