I was left stone cold upon finding out this news, Oh God!, things like this only happens in Japan.

Ishinokoe company is going to realease next month funeral headstones provided with mobile technology.

This headstones will contains a “Bar code” (maybe QRcode, very used in Japan) in which only relatives, by means of the use of a key that will open a little door where this code will be hidden, could scan and download pictures or texts of their deceaseds.

In this link you can see a sample, where you can find a men, supposed deceased, photos.

The starting price for this “gadgets”, including the funeral headstone and the bar codes, will be 6.400€.
