Why are we talking about a GPS in a mobile technology blog? To be honest, I have made myself the same question. But when you analyse Dash GPS, several mobile reminiscences come into your mind. It is a GPS, that’s true, but with WiFi and GPRS connectivy, the most important feature of this GPS. It allows you to send your localization in real time to the central server, being able to receive updated traffic information. The possibility of avoiding traffic jams is closer than ever!!!

Another interesting option is that it allows you to create mash-up applications on top of Dash GPS system. Funambol has integrated myFunambol with Dash GPS, sending your calendar Appointments to your GPS!!! Can you imagine it? Early in the morning, you get into your car and you can see your appointments directly in the GPS screen. Moreover, it guides you to the appointment location through the best route. Amazing!!!
