After the launch of the iPhone SDK two weeks ago, the first problems are starting to appear. Apple is currently rejecting iPhone Developer Program access to non-USA developers. What does it mean? Only USA based companies will be able to start developing right now, testing the applications on real devices and not only emulators. Apple AppStore is also closed for non-USA companies.
Well, I understand Apple’s position. Taking into account the number of downloads (100K in 4 days) it would be difficult to manage this developer base so early. The situation will change soon. I don’t know how soon, but this restriction will surely be removed before the 2.0 firmware is on the street.
