We have a complete review of Sennheiser cx95, Sennheiser cx500 and Jays Qjays, maybe the best in-ear earphones under 170€.
SevenClickers have tested and reviewed all of them and we show you our impressions, now you have to choose the best for you.
Following, the entire review…

Jays QJays are the smallest in-ear earphones in the market, and it´s has the coolest design, just holding the box you know there are something smart inside.
This model fits two micro armatures in each earphone, one tweeter that delivers precise highs and one woofer that creates rich lows and mids., that´s because the sound is so great.
QJays are provided with a soft silicon sleeve, available in five sizes, those fit snugly in any ear and sleeves are washable, so allow you to keep them clean at all times. Jays silicon rubber sleeves reduces very well the background noise . With this silent you can experience an amazing sound experience even at low volumes.
Sound quality is really great, balanced sound, excellent mids and highs, and a correct bass. We think if you listen vocal or instrumental songs, like Jazz, Opera, Twist… Qjays is your choice.

The CX 95 are high quality, noise-isolating ear-canal-headphones with a very balanced sound. We know Sennheiser products always means quality, but in this case is awesome.
It´s feature a short cable, perfect for using with a mobile phone or MP3 player with a remote-control and/or microphone, but you need to use an extension cable if you use it with a player carried in your pocket.
Optimal fit in the ear canal due to ergonomic design and ear adapters in different sizes. As Jays, Sennheiser provide its products with different adapters to be used by different standards.
We really love Sennheiser CX series, sound is great balanced and the quality is very good, If you listen House, dance, R&B, Hip-hop, or music styles in which bass is very important, that´s your choice.

If you have an iPhone in your own already, I’m sure you had not great surprise when you tried to plug another than supplied earphones on it, yes we too. Only a few specific earphones for this platform fits on iPhone’s Jack plug. Why?, it´s because apples jack is longer than standard. Nobody knows the reason of this “problem”. So, you need a headphone adapter like this (see picture), to plug your earphones on it. In our case we have used a Belkin headphone adapter.

The Headphone Adapter allows you to connect any headset to your iPhone. Simply attach one end of the Adapter into the audio jack of your iPhone, and the other into your existing headset, simple.

As you can see in the picture below, standard jacks doesn´t fit to the end of the hole. It´s an Apple design mistake? maybe not, they want you to buy their earphones, we think.

SevenClikers Comparison
here you have three different comparisons. Victor, Rafa and Jose Manuel have wrote their opinions, any of them have choosed the best earphone in order to their musical style preferences.

Jays Qjays, Sennheiser CX95 and Sennheiser CX500 are probably the best mid-high in-ear earphones in market, all of them are the greatest earphones you can choose for your iphone. Listening music, podcast or video will be a different experience using any of them.
Now, it time to choose!, you have read 3 reviews and 3 comparison, you have enough information to choose the earphone you think is the best for your musical style preferences.
Enjoy them

Hi Stewart.
If you are looking for an in-ear set with mic for your iPhone, I recommend you the M-Jays set which includes:
1. Mic with noise cancelling with an answering/ stop or resume music button.
2. In-ear earphones J-Jays, which is provided with 3 sizes silicon rubber sleeves.
Of course it is compatible with the iPhone with the recessed 3.5 mm jack.
In a few days we are going to publish a review of M-Jays. Until then you can visit M-Jays web site in this link.

Hi Andrew.
Sennheiser CX500 are WOW! on bass sound, maybe the best around this price, 70-80€.
I have never used the Sennheiser CX55, maybe the sound quality are similar like the CX500, because both are in the same “family”, CX Series.
If you want to know more about this in-ear earphones check this out:

Hi,i listen acoustic-soft rock music like 3 doors down,Avril,Dido…I want a clear sound…Which earphones do you suggest for my iphone, but maximum 70-80$ ?…
April 28th, 2008 at 7:59 am
Hello Tahir.
I´m not sure which earphones are the best for “acoustic-soft” around 70-80$, because the best for the music style you like in this review is the Jays Q-jays, but it costs 169€.
You can take a look to Jays web to know more about its products, and maybe J-Jays is the best choice, and it is for only 69$.

Hey,
I plan to purchase a Sennheiser canalphone from the CX range for my iPod Classic. Can you tell me the difference between CX300 and CX500 in terms of sound quality? The Sennheiser site says the same thing for all of them, and I can’t make out which to buy, especially since CX500 is way more expensive than CX300. Thanks.

HI Malay!
I am not sure, because I have not tested the Shennheiser CX300, sorry!
. Sometimes Brands makes the same base models with minimum differences like aesthetic aspects, probably CX300 & CX500 are the same.
Greetings

Yeah that’s what I wondering. There’s a HUGE difference in price. In fact, the CX500 is almost double the price of the CX300 )I’m buying it in India). Seems criminal if I end up spending double the money just for the aesthetic differences which incidentally aren’t all that different either!!

Hey all
Just for everyone’s general information, in case there are others like who want to know the difference between Sennheiser CX-300, CX-400 and CX-500 models:
There is NO technological difference, no difference in sound quality between the three models.
The only difference is a few bells and whistles (like an in-line volume control, a crappy leather pouch, and some extra buds in the CX-500) which aren’t worth the whopping difference in price.
Trust me on this. I got this information from someone working at Sennheiser. He HIMSELF recommended that I save my money and buy the CX-300.
