Nokia and Facebook are negotiating a new alliance in order to include a built-in direct access to the social network in every Nokia device. In addition Nokia may be developing an improved Symbian version of the social network application.
Obviously, this is another step further in the Nokia’s strategy to become an internet company (like the previous steps of launching the OVI platform, buying Navteq, Avvenu, Mosh…). The next logical step would be to buy one of the most famous Web 2.0 applications…. but which one?
Although not confirmed, there is a rumour that refers to a possible purchase of a stake of Facebook by Nokia, thus confirming the Nokia’s will to become an internet giant.
