Since the release of Android SDK and emulator a lot of hackers all around the world put their hands on having the new beast running on real hardware before an official handset was available o the market.

And, of course, they got it!

We have seen Android running on development boards and some prototypes of Android devices, too.

But, what seemed to be the starting pistol was Hungarian group called Eu.Edge discovering that basically any device with an ARMv5TE chip could run Android. Since then, many Sharp devices have been managed to be running Android: the SL-C760, C3000M, SL-C3000 series (Zaurus) and the SL-6000.

Moreover, some rumours have arisen about an official release of Android-based handsets in next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (february 11-14).

By now, we can enjoy this video.
