Wistron NeWeb’s GW4 Linux (not Android) phone

January 8th, 2008 by Daniel Vecino

The GW4 QWERTY phone from Wistron NeWeb doesn’t run Android, although it could seem. Instead, it runs really functional Linux UI, regarding Engadget Mobile.

  • VoIP
  • Weather and stock widgets
  • WiFi and Bluetooth

Ok. It is not exactly a phone because it hasn’t support HSDPA, UMTS, or even EDGE…

Do you really want one of them?
