This is what Robbie Bach, Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division president, said during Bill Gates speech last Sunday at CES. Bach spoke about mobile phones and mentioned that Windows Mobile devices are about to reach 20 million worldwide, outselling Blackberries and iPhones.

Strange words coming from the president of such an important division. Or maybe not so important? maybe Microsoft’s strategy is not so focused on mobile devices as they mean to be. Currently, mobile phones are the most ubiquitous device, with penetration percentages over the 100%. Personally, I don’t know what future Robbie Bach refers to. We believe in mobile devices as a reality, not as a future alternative.
