Sogecable and mobile operator Orange, have agreed to launch, by the start of 2008, a joint service composed of:

  • Regular mobile phone service.
  • High-speed Internet.
  • Pay-per-view television.

In a press release, both companies said that the service will include television contents for Orange’s third-generation mobile users.

The company didn’t provide neither financial details of the agreement, nor information about the number of subscribers they hope to add with the new services.

Last June, Sogecable signed a similar agreement with Telefónica, as Spanish telecom operator looking forward to combining television, Internet and voice calls in a single package to boost revenue and compete with others operators.
