AT&T will launch its live mobile TV service as soon as possible. The company has planned the launch at the beginning of 2008 with eight channels: ESP, MTV networks, NBC, CBS and FOX among others.
AT&T had planned to launch its service by the end of this year, but the Executive Director of Media Relations, Mark Siegel, said “the testing of the software and hardware is going very, very well, but we decided to take just a little extra time to make sure the user experience is absolutely optimal” according to the Multichannel declarations. This way, Mark Siegel also pointed that “AT&T will launch the service as early as possible next year”.
