First of all, take a look at the picture. I’m sure you already understand the system. I’m even sure you’ll know how to use it once lauched!!!
Sony Ericsson has registered a patent consisting of a procedure to allow file sharing between Sony Ericsson phones under a proximity basis. Using a touch screen, you just have to put your mobile phone close to another one supporting the technology. Then, pick the file about to be shared, drag it from one phone to the other and drop it. Well, not exactly from one phone to the other (very difficult indeed) but to the end of your mobile phone’s screen.
Wouldn’t it be great having such feature in iPhone? Steve Jobs must be already kicking Apple’s engineers butts to implement a similar feature. Don’t you think so??

Interesante. De todas maneras, lo que me parece mas llamativo es que parece ser que todas las grandes empresas de telefonía parece que han captado el mensaje de que “lo tactil” es el futuro. Un gran merito de los chicos de Steve Jobs. De todas maneras, por muchas cosas que implementen compañias como Sony o Nokia, ¿conseguiran hacer sus telefonos tan atractivos como el iPhone?. Me da a mi que no.

Yo personalmente creo que, excepto en el interfaz multitouch, todos los sistemas van a comenzar a evolucionar hasta los sistemas táctiles. Series60 (Nokia) ya lo esta probando, HTC ya lo ha implantado y otros lo están valorando (Sony Ericsson y Motorola quieren impulsar Symbian UIQ, que es inherentemente táctil).
También la estrategia es distinta. Apple ha lanzado un solo dispositivo y la competencia lanza muchos modelos para alcanzar a muchos más segmentos de mercado.
