WURFL updates coming soon

It looks like today is Mobile Web day in SevenClick. Following last post of MIT series, I’ve discovered that WURFL is going to launch a new device repository for JME developers and FlashLite. WALL, the JSP taglibrary based on WURFL will also be updated to support an objetc model, CSS and a JAVA API. It will also include 3 markup categories: XHTML-Advanced, XHTML-Simple and WML. Very interesting.

These are the messages sent by WURFL’s creator, Luca Passani:

WURFL and Flashlite: FlashLite developers who use WURFL are now provided with a new specialized list which will help them leverage WURFL to serve the right Flashlite content to the different devices. If you plan to use WURFL to serve your FL, that’s the pace to be (did I mention that Biskero is also there?).

WURFL and JME. J2ME developers who use WURFL are gathering around a new specialized list which is all about boosting WURFL’s richness in the J2ME area. If you use WURFL to serve your MIDP apps, you wanna be there.
