Vodafone and Nokia will integrate services

November 7th, 2007 by admin

As Nokia claims in its press release, “Vodafone, the world’s largest mobile operator by revenue and Nokia the world’s largest handset manufacturer, have agreed to launch an integrated suite of Vodafone services combined with Nokia Ovi Services on a range of Nokia handsets”.

This is good news for both, since Vodafone needs Nokia handsets to get more clients and Nokia needs Vodafone clients using its Ovi services.

Anyway, this deal does not mean a real integration of services at all. It’s simply that a suite of services picked up from Vodafone and Nokia portfolio will be easily accesible on Nokia handsets manufactured for Vodafone.
