James Gosling: Rectify is of wise people

October 31st, 2007 by Jose Manuel Cristobal

James Gosling mentioned in an interview that JME will finally evolve to a point that its basis will merge with JSE. JME community is not happy with the way things have been done, and found this comment as the beginning of the end.

Well, James Gosling has written a post in his own blog to clarify his comment. In this post, he remarks that Java ME is here to stay, and that hypothetical merge will happen not before a decade. He also mentions that JavaFX, Sun’s newly beat on mobile technology, is based on a JME implementation.

In my opinion, the clarification was needed because the comment has created too much noise. In one hand, Mr. Gosling should be more careful with the way he express opinions. And in other hand, the community shouldn’t be so dramatic. Maybe in a perfect world……

I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case. I’ve been experiencing this very same problem with a new WordPress installation of mine. I’ve spent weeks calibrating and getting it ready when all of a sudden… I cannot delete any content. It’s a workaround that, although isn’t perfect, does the trick so thanks! I really hope this problem gets solved properly asap.

good afternoon friends. I’m actually into shoes and I was looking as far as something that exact model. The prices as regards the shoes are around 190 bucks on every site. But completely I bring about this site selling them for half price. I absolutely love these mens prada sneakers. I will definetly order them.
