IBM along with MediaTek are developing a system of wireless data transmission that could reach a rate transfer of 2.5 Gbps. This is quite interesting if we consider that the most powerful data rate transfer reaches 300 Mbps.
According to Mehmet Soyuer, project manager, the idea is to achieve to 100 times the speed of current wireless network.
The idea of both companies is to launch a final product in about three years.
