Several days ago, we talked about Flash Lite 3 supporting HD in mobile phones. It looks like this Application Framework is gaining momentum with  new releases an some announcements made by mobile phone manufactures regarding Flash Lite support in new mobile phones.

Sony Ericsson announced that Flash Lite 2.0 will be included in JP8 mobile phones. Along with this announcement, Sony Ericsson Developer World has released a Developer Guideline to create Flash applications for JP8 mobile phones, namely K850, V640, W910 and Z750. This guidelines summarize specifications, best practices and configuration guides to obtain the best performance in Flash Lite applications developed for Sony Ericsson Mobile phones.

Along with this announcement, and complementing the Flash Lite set of tools, Spaghettisort has launched Janus 2. Janus 2 allows the creation of installation packages for Flash Lite applications. It currently supports Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile 5 and 6. With this tool, you can create .SIS or .CAB files for Symbian Series 60 and Windows mobile respectively.
