
Finally, Microsft solved an important flaw in the Office mobile version for Windows Mobile 6: Support for regular Office 2007 documents.
As both software, Windows Mobile 6 and Officce 2007 were released at the same time, it is logical to think that both of them would support the same document formats. Instead of that, the first Office version inside WM 6 couldn’t use any of the new Office formats, forcing the users to continuously change the format of their documents.
Now, with Office Mobile 6.1 allows users to open docx, pptx, xlsx documents. Other features and upgrades are:
The upgrade will be free for Windows Mobile 6 users. It is scheduled to be released in a few weeks, although a Microsoft blogger leaked that the upgrade will be released inmediately.
