The South Korean chaebol is preparing the release of a new Symbian-based mobile phone. It appears that Samsung has found some inspiration in the Nokia N-series, not only in the external design (two way slider and screen size) but in the operation system too.
The technical specifications are not yet revealed, but they are rumoured to be:
- tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900, UMTS and 3.6 Mbps HSDPA connectivity
- 2.3″ 262K color QVGA display
- 2 mpx camera and VGA front camera for video calls
- Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0
- 1GB of built-in user memory
- microSD memory card slot
The release date is still unknown but it will probably during the incoming IFA show at Berlin (starting august 31th)
