Telefonica Movistar is going to launch the iPhone in Spain immediately. Finally confirmed!

Yesterday at the Professional Communications Congress, PROCOM Aragón 2008, hold at the university of Zaragoza, The biggest mobile phone operators in Spain: Vodafone, Orange and of course Telefonica Movistar, talked about the immediate situation about the iPhone in this country.

Fco. José Santos Esteras from Telefonica affirmed they have an exclusive contract with Apple to distribute the iPhone in our country, but this contract contract won’t be illimited, Danie Pujol from Orange said it will be effective supposedly for only three or six months.

On the other hand, Orange are coming to an agreement with Apple to distribute their product in other countries than France or Spain.

Finally Telefonica have the exclusivity of the iPhone in Spain for the next months and neither vodafone nor orange will attack.

Unfortunately they didn´t talk about the launch date of the different available versions of the product: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iTablet or all of them.

 

Nokia Siemens Networks and Mobilkom Austria has succesfully tested the new I-HSPA (Internet High Speed Packet Access) which offers 10.1Mbps speeds on data calls, which is great enough till we wait to 2010 for the so-called LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology with 173Mbps (Wow!) as peak rate one kilometer away.

Motorola and Paramount Pictures are known to be working together in order to offer films adapted to mobile phones. The release date could be end of may, at least in USA.

It´s still not clear how they will organize that service. Offering such type of adapted media should save a lot of broadband compared with other similar services, however it´s said that the media conversions would be performed on our desktops computers.

Rumors, rumors, rumors. Rumors about the new iPhone everyday. Could any of those rumors become true?

I don´t usually believe in rumors, but today is different. It is the first time i believe in a rumor around the 3G iPhone, the rumor that claims on the internet about next iPhone could be in white, might be true.

Believe it or not, this is the first time i see a supposed new iPhone pictures that make me think it is real, Why?.

Firts of all, today is May the 7th and, as everybody know, the new 3G Iphone could be announced next June 9-13 in the WWDC that Apple organize in San Francisco. So, it might be thought that Apple´s new iPhone has been manufactured and it could be ready for shipping.

SevenClick talk about the launch date in this post many months ago, the release date of the 3G iPhone in Spain was May, but now change, probably it will be delayed to June coinciding with the WWDC.
AT&T is waiting for something big between the 15th of June and 12th of July, MacRumors claims, and It should be the launch date of the new iPhone.

In addition to this supposed dates, the picture above could be taken from Apple´s factory in China, maybe by a worker or a manager. It shows how new iPhone could be. Many details are supposedly confirmed with this pics.

On the top left of the picture above you can see this “new iPhone” is rounder than previous,it will make confortable our calls holding the iPhone in your hand.
In the same picture, there is the dock connection and two more holes, i don´t know what those holes could use for, but it fits with the picture below, leaked some days ago.

And why in white ?, i think Apple is making its new iphone cover in plastic as its Macbook, it would lower the final price of the product.

The camera on the back is in the same place, probably it increases the quality, more mega pixels and less noise.It could be provided with a front camera too,like in iMacs it might be placed under the front cover and it could be used for videoconference.
Another two “spots” are situated next to the supposed videoconference camera and it could be used as an infrared port for something like FrontRow. I don´t know, i am just dreaming.

Well, aby opinion and feature offered in this article are not confirmed, but it could be the nearest reality of the new iPhone features.

If you prefer an easy way to change your iPhone Theme, choose SummerBoard. It allows you to change your iPhone themes in a few seconds.

Where you can find SummerBoard?, it is on Installer app as a featured app.

Remember reboot your system after install any application.

Maybe some of the themes could not work properly, make your best choice and enjoy.
